SUMMARY:WRGC Public Class: Light for Indoor Plants and Interiorscapes
DESCRIPTION:As we approach the summer solstice\, join OOS Trustee Doug Needham as he discusses the role of light in plant health\, light quality and intensity\, and light for plants grown indoors in homes\, offices\, and interiorscapes. \n\n\n\nDr. Needham is retired Vice President\, Education\, Longwood Gardens\, and retired Professor of Horticulture\, Oklahoma State University. \n\n\n\nThis is a public class offered by OKC Parks\, and preregistration is required. Oklahoma Orchid Society receives volunteer credit for delivering this class.

SUMMARY:OOS Meeting—June 2025
DESCRIPTION:The meeting begins at 1pm with Grower Tips\, where OOS members address a specific orchid growing challenge\, e.g. a specific pest\, repotting\, mounting\, humidity\, or fertilization\, and answer questions from the audience. Come with questions\, and they’ll provide answers! The Business Meeting will follow at 1:20–1:50pm; Program Presentation at 2–3pm; and Show Table\, Auction\, and Raffle at 3–3:30pm. \n\n\n\nProgram Presentation\n\n\n\nWe will be doing our annual repotting clinic. Please bring your plants\, newspaper\, and pots if you want assistance from our seasoned orchid enthusiasts.  \n\n\n\nSpeaker’s Biography\n\n\n\nCurrent OOS President Mike Friday will be presenting.
