Aergs. Miré

The genus Aerangis (ay-er-RANG-iss), abbreviated Aergs., is derived from the Greek words ‘aer’ (air) and ‘angos’ (urn), referring to the form of the lip. Approximately 50 species in this genus originate from tropical Africa, the Comoro Islands, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka, and many of them, including the primary hybrid Aergs. Miré, are fragrant at night.
