Native Orchid Conference Virtual Presentation: “Investigating Mycorrhizal Fungi as Drivers of Host Tree Specificity Dendrophylax lindenii”

September 27, 2022 @ 7:30 PM 8:30 PM

Few orchids evoke as much mystery and intrigue as the rare and beautiful Ghost Orchid, Dendrophylax lindenii. Just ask Mike Owen, Susan Orlean and John Laroche, all brought to the fore by Ms. Orlean’s well known book The Orchid Thief.

Now meet Lynnaun Johnson, PhD. who conducted extensive research involving the mycorrhizal fungi associated with Dendrophylax lindenii in both Florida and Cuba. Join Dr. Johnson as he discusses his findings during the first NOC virtual presentation of the 2022 Fall season.
