1. Call to Order: Call to order by President Mike Friday at 5:00 pm.
2. Member Attendance: attendance and introduction of guests and new members. Number present: 17 members attended the November greenhouse potluck.
3. Approval of Minutes and Treasurer’s Report: Approval of October’s minutes will be postponed until the January 2025 business meeting. The October 2024 Treasurer’s report is posted on the OOS website though voting to accept the report will be postponed until the January 19th meeting.
4. Committee Chair Reports: No committee chair reports were given during the November business meeting.
5. Affiliate Reports: No reports were given during the November business meeting.
6. Old Business: During the October, 2024 business meeting the nominating committee proposed a slate of candidates for office positions during 2025. The following were nominated for the slate of 2025 OOS officers serving a one-year term:
President – Mike Friday
Vice President – John Spencer
Secretary – Kim Kyker
Treasurer – Catherine Chance
Treasurer Backups – Barbara Alexander and Angela Hartman
The above individuals were proposed as the 2025 Oklahoma Orchid Society officers by Julie Young and seconded by John Spencer. The vote was unanimous to accept th nominated individuals as the 2025 officers. The vote was unanimous to accept the nominated individuals as the 2025 officers. Carol Ash, Doug Needham and Jessica Nelson are to be removed from all OOS accounts and Catherine Chance and Michael Friday will need to be added to all five of the Oklahoma Orchid Society accounts held by Arvest Bank.
